The Store Director at Albertsons Companies oversees the full store operation, profitability, and leadership. You’ll drive customer experience, financial performance, and associate development while ensuring policy and regulatory compliance.

You will lead store leadership teams, manage budgets, optimize merchandising, and partner with district leadership to execute company programs and initiatives. Strong communication and people management are essential in this fast-paced retail environment.

Responsabilidades

• Leads all aspects of store operations and customer service initiatives.
• Promotes a culture of customer engagement and personalized service.

• Conducts regular meetings with department managers to review sales plans, promotions, and operational initiatives.
• Develops and maintains positive relationships with customers, vendors, and community partners.
• Monitors market conditions, competitor activity, and business trends to identify opportunities to improve store performance.
• Directs daily store operations across all departments.
• Ensures departments meet company standards for merchandising, cleanliness, organization, product quality, and customer service.
• Oversees execution of promotional programs, merchandising plans, and company initiatives.
• Monitors inventory levels and product availability.
• Ensures proper receiving, stocking, rotation, pricing, and inventory-control practices.
• Maintains appropriate store conditions and operational readiness.
• Partners with department leadership to address operational opportunities and improve execution.
• Ensures compliance with company policies, procedures, and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Promotes a safe working and shopping environment for associates and customers.
• Ensures food safety, sanitation, and product-handling standards are consistently followed.
• Addresses safety hazards and operational concerns promptly.
• Ensures required documentation, inspections, audits, and compliance activities are completed accurately.
• Supports loss prevention and asset protection programs and procedures.
• Communicates business priorities and company initiatives throughout the store.
• Partners with district leadership and support teams to achieve company objectives.
• Ensures department leaders understand expectations and follow through on assigned responsibilities.
• Provides timely updates regarding store performance, staffing, operational concerns, and business needs.
• Leads the execution of company programs and operational changes at the store level.

Position Summary

The Store Director is responsible for the overall operation, profitability, and leadership of the store. This position ensures exceptional customer service, drives sales and financial performance, develops and leads store associates, and maintains compliance with all company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. The Store Director provides strategic direction for the store while fostering a culture of accountability, operational excellence, and associate development.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Leadership & Customer Experience

• Leads all aspects of store operations and customer service initiatives.
• Promotes a culture of customer engagement and personalized service.
• Resolves customer concerns and ensures positive customer experiences.
• Communicates company goals, priorities, policies, and expectations to department leaders and associates.

Financial & Business Management

• Maintains full profit and loss accountability for the store.
• Develops and manages store operating budgets.
• Drives sales growth, gross profit performance, labor productivity, and expense control.
• Reviews business results and key performance indicators to identify opportunities and implement corrective action plans.
• Oversees inventory management, shrink reduction, merchandising execution, and product availability.
• Ensures accurate reporting, auditing, and financial controls.
• Protects company assets through effective operational and cash-handling controls.

Talent Management

• Leads recruiting, interviewing, hiring, onboarding, and retention efforts for the store.
• Coaches and develops department managers, supervisors, and associates.
• Establishes clear expectations and holds leaders accountable for operational and performance results.
• Identifies high-potential associates and supports succession planning and career development.
• Provides ongoing feedback, recognition, coaching, and performance management.
• Promotes associate engagement, teamwork, accountability, and a positive work environment.
• Ensures appropriate staffing levels are maintained to support operational and customer needs.

Store Operations & Merchandising

• Directs daily store operations across all departments.
