Job summary

Ahold Delhaize USA in Mauldin, SC is seeking a Project Manager I to lead store development projects from pre-construction through close-out, managing schedules, budgets, bids, and contractor performance to open new or remodeled Food Lion stores.

The role requires up to 80% travel (Mon–Thu) with a remote office day on Friday; applicants may reside in NC, SC or VA and must be authorized to work in the United States.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
• Experience coordinating bids, contracts, schedules and budgets.

Responsibilities

• Manage bidding and awarding processes for GC's, CM's, and subcontractors.
• Oversee contracts, purchase orders, and payment processing for Food Lion-contracted work.
• Lead change order, budget, and period reporting to keep stakeholders informed.
• Coordinate with Purchasing, Real Estate, Preconstruction and Operations on schedules and milestones.
• Ensure safety compliance and quality control across remodel and new store projects.
• Deliver projects on time, within budget, and per prototype standards.
