Job summary

NAPA in Rockford, IL is seeking a Counter Sales associate to be the face of our retail store, helping customers with auto parts questions and providing friendly service. You will engage customers in person and by phone, using parts knowledge to support the team and ensure a positive shopping experience.

The role emphasizes quick learning of automotive parts, strong communication, and a customer-centric, energetic approach in a fast-paced environment.

As a NAPA Counter Sales associate, you are looked at as the “face of the retail store” and the go to person as soon as our customers enter our retail stores for all of their automotive needs. You don’t need to be able to tear and motor down and rebuild it (however, if you can, that’s awesome) – but we do need you to have a background and knowledge of automotive parts.
