Job summary

The Haag Oil team in Topeka, KS is seeking a Cashier / Team Member to deliver friendly service, operate a POS, and keep the store clean and stocked. The role emphasizes accurate cash handling, quick customer assistance, and adherence to safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, professional, and efficient customer service.
• Greet and thank customers and respond to customer questions and concerns promptly and professionally.
• Operate the cash register and point-of-sale equipment accurately and efficiently.
• Handle cash, safe drops, credit cards, payouts and lottery according to company policy.
• Follow all Haag Oil safety, security, loss-prevention, and operating procedures.
• Report safety hazards, accidents, incidents, and other concerns to management.
• Report to work on time and as scheduled.
• Stock, price, rotate, face, and count merchandise.
• Maintain clean and orderly sales areas, coolers, fountain areas, restrooms, fuel areas, and store grounds.
• Maintain adequate supplies and merchandise throughout the shift.
• Follow all company policies and applicable laws regarding beverage and tobacco sales.
• Assist with displays, inventory, store equipment, buildings, and grounds.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Store Manager or Area Manager.
