Job summary

Town Pump is seeking a motivated and outgoing Store Clerk to join our team in Bozeman. The role involves customer service, cash handling, merchandise stocking, deli-related duties, and keeping the store clean and safe.

Responsibilities include operating the cash register, handling payments, assisting regular customers, answering calls, and monitoring shoplifting. Primary duties also cover stocking, pricing, and daily housekeeping across the store, including deli areas.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and cash handling abilities.
• Ability to manage stocking, pricing, merchandising and store housekeeping.
• Deli duties and cooking responsibilities as needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate a computerized cash register, give correct change, scan cards, process checks and bag merchandise.
• Remember regular customers and assist with phone calls; respond to complaints.
• Stock shelves and coolers, maintain cleanliness and safety inside and outside the store.
• Complete shift tasks, vendor checks, and report policy violations to management.
• Perform outdoor duties such as snow removal and pump area cleaning.
• Keep condiment areas and machines clean and stocked; assist with deli operations in smaller locations.
