Qualifications

• Expérience dans le commerce de proximité, restaurant ou vente au détail.
• Connaissances de base en sécurité alimentaire.
• Capacité à travailler des horaires flexibles (nuit/journée/week-end/jours fériés).
• Excellentes compétences en service client et orientation client.
• Capacité à réagir rapidement en situation d’urgence.
• Endurance physique et capacité à rester debout pendant de longues périodes.

Responsibilities

• Veiller à l’approvisionnement des produits dans les zones deli.
• Maintenir un espace propre et accueillant dans les zones de service (deli, café, boulangerie, boissons).
• Servir des aliments de manière rapide et courtoise, avec un service client de qualité.
• Respecter les méthodes de cuisson et les standards du Deli Manager.
• Suivre les plannings, procédures de stock et pratiques organisationnelles.
• Atteindre les objectifs de performance et effectuer les tâches assignées.

The Opportunity

The Store Cafe Representative is responsible for proper food preparation, following kitchen safety techniques and health standards. The Store Cafe Representative prepares food, stocks deli coolers, keeps areas clean, neat and stocked and provides excellent customer service.

Location: 8258 39th St NW, New Town

This position is for afternoon shift, 2:00 pm - 10:00 pm. Shifts may change based on store needs. Flexibility is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure deli coolers are stocked with fresh produce and ingredients for food preparation.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting environment in the food service areas, including the deli, coffee, bakery, and beverage machine areas as applicable.
• Deliver high-quality food promptly and courteously, ensuring excellent customer service.
• Adhere to cooking methods and standards provided by the Deli Manager.
• Understand and follow work schedules, stocking procedures, and organizational practices.
• Meet performance goals and complete all assigned duties efficiently and to the company's standards.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a convenience store, restaurant, or retail environment.
• A basic knowledge of food safety standards.
• Must be able to work flexible schedule of nights, days, weekends, and holidays.
• Incredible customer service skills and the ability to create and maintain a customer focused culture.
• The physical ability to immediately respond to emergency situations.
• Ability to stand for long hours.
