Job summary

RaceTrac Petroleum, Inc. is hiring a Store Associate to deliver an exceptional guest experience in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. The role offers part-time and full-time possibilities, with opportunities to gain valuable skills while keeping stores clean, stocked, and running smoothly.

Competitive pay up to $17.50 per hour for select locations, flexible scheduling including nights, weekends, and holidays, and strong emphasis on hands-on training and internal career growth.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (or in progress).
• Previous experience in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment is a plus.
• A team player who takes the initiative and enjoys working with people.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks like bending and standing.
• May be required to obtain and maintain food handler or alcohol server permits, depending on state/local regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, prompt service at the register or self-checkout, suggest products to guests, address concerns with urgency, and support a team environment.
• Keep stores stocked and fresh: ensure items meet quality standards, maintain cleanliness in food prep areas, and restock shelves, coolers, and displays.
• Keep the store clean and organized: maintain a welcoming environment and assist with inventory and restocking.

What You’ll Do

• Delivering an Exceptional Guest Experience: Provide friendly, prompt service at the register or self‑checkout; Suggest additional products to enhance guest purchases; Address guest concerns with urgency and involve managers as needed; Foster a team‑oriented, respectful work environment.
• Keep Our Stores Stocked & Fresh: Ensure food and beverage items are available and up to quality standards; Maintain cleanliness in food prep areas and follow all safety regulations; Restock shelves, coolers, and display areas as needed.
• Keep It Clean & Organized: Maintain a clean, welcoming store environment inside and out; Complete regular cleaning tasks to ensure a great experience for guests; Assist in inventory management and restocking.
