Salon Service Group in Plano, TX is seeking a Store Associate to deliver exceptional customer experiences and to drive sales under the supervision of the Store Manager.

We value a cheerful attitude, prior retail or customer service experience, and a passion for the beauty industry. You must be able to work a flexible schedule, including Saturdays, and you will support inventory, cash handling, merchandising, and product knowledge training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Passion for beauty and/or retail.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsabilités

• Provide exemplary service and build strong partnerships with customers.
• Handle daily retail operations including inventory management, cash handling, and store upkeep.
• Communicate with area DSCs to meet and exceed sales goals.
• Participate in product knowledge trainings to improve selling techniques.
• Maintain store appearance, merchandising, marketing, and cleanliness standards.
• Accurately process transactions and balance cash drawer daily.
• Process returns and discounts per company policies.
• Stay current with market trends and make product recommendations to drive sales.

Job Summary:

Store Associates deliver exceptional customer experiences through focus on partnership. They work directly with the Store Manager, Distributor Sales Consultants, and other team members in an upbeat environment to drive sales, meet goals, and maintain high SSG retail standards.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Ensure exemplary service in a friendly environment where customers are top priority and strong partnerships are fostered.
• Perform day to day operations of a retail store including inventory management, cash management, and general retail store upkeep.
• Communicate consistently with area DSCs to meet and exceed sales goals.
• Contribute to sales growth by participating regularly in product knowledge classes and other training opportunities.
• Maintain a high standard of store appearance including merchandising, product placement, marketing, and cleanliness.
• Accurately and efficiently complete all sales transactions, balance cash drawer daily.
• Properly process returns and discounts, aligning with the company’s stated policy and procedures.
• Stay current with market trends, make product recommendations, and drive sales.

Required Skills/Abilities:

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma
• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred

Physical Requirements:

• Stand and walk for 8 hours per day
