The TJX Companies, Inc. in Mont Belvieu, TX is hiring a store associate to deliver outstanding customer service and maintain a clean, organized store environment. You may work across multiple areas to support business needs while following all operational standards.

The role emphasizes engagement with customers, adherence to loss prevention, and participation in credit and loyalty programs. Compensation starts at $13.00–$13.50 per hour with a comprehensive benefits package.

• Accurately rings customer purchases/returns and counts change back to customer according to established operating procedures.
• Promotes credit and loyalty programs.
• Maintains merchandising philosophy and follows merchandising procedures and standards.
• Accurately processes and prepares merchandise for the sales floor following company procedures and standards.
• Initiates and participates in store recovery as needed throughout the day.
• Maintains cleanliness and organization of the sales floor and the entire store.
• Provides and accepts recognition and constructive feedback.
• Adheres to labor laws, policies, and procedures.
• Supports and participates in store shrink reduction goals and programs.
• Participates in safety awareness and maintains a safe environment.
• Other duties as assigned.

Responsible for delivering a highly satisfied customer experience proven by engaging and interacting with all customers, embodying customer experience principles and philosophy, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. Adheres to all operational, merchandise, and loss prevention standards. May be cross-trained to work in multiple areas of the store in order to support the needs of the business.
