Socket.dev Store in Nashville is seeking a Store Assistant Manager to support the Store Manager and lead a team of brand advocates in delivering outstanding customer experiences that reflect the Socket.dev brand values.

The role focuses on profitability, engagement, visual merchandising, inventory control, and loss prevention, while also handling staffing, training, and daily operations to ensure excellent service and store performance.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3-5 years of retail experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent organizational skills; able to coordinate people, resources, and services to meet goals.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of retail operations including sales, customer service, merchandising, inventory control, and loss prevention.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including day, evening, weekends and holidays.
• Experience developing staff with staffing, coaching and counseling.
• Ability to process information or merchandise through the computer system and POS.

Store Assistant Manager (F/T)

The Store Assistant Manager is responsible for working with the Store Manager on all store operations. The Store Assistant Manager plays a vital role in guiding, developing, and motivating a team of brand advocates to ensure an exceptional customer experience that aligns with the company's brand values.

• Assist in various store operations, including training, operations, sales, visual merchandising, inventory management, store administration, cleaning duties when necessary, and customer service.
• Foster an environment of development and accountability.
• Process information or merchandise through the computer system and POS register system.
• Assist Store Manager in the selection and hiring of qualified candidates.
• Be flexible and occasionally perform work outside your specific role.

Requirements
