Steve Madden is seeking a Store Assistant Manager (full-time) to support the Store Manager in all store operations in Canutillo, TX. The role focuses on guiding a team to deliver exceptional customer experiences aligned with the brand values.

The position requires leadership, strong communication, and a hands-on approach to sales, merchandising, inventory, and loss prevention.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of retail experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of retail operations including sales, customer service, merchandising, inventory control, store budget and loss prevention.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Understanding of how to develop staff with coaching and training.
• Ability to process information or merchandise through the POS system.

Responsibilities

• Ensure appropriate replenishment of merchandise on the selling floor.
• Partner with the Store Manager to ensure compliance and adherence to loss prevention and safety policies and procedures, standards and practices, and company directive.
• Assist in training, operations, sales, visual merchandising, inventory management, store administration, cleaning duties when necessary, and customer service.
• Foster an environment of development and accountability.
• Process information or merchandise through the computer system and POS register system.
• Assist Store Manager in the selection and hiring of qualified candidates.
• Be flexible and occasionally perform work outside your specific role.

Store Assistant Manager (F/T)

The Store Assistant Manager is responsible for working with the Store Manager on all store operations. The Store Assistant Manager plays a vital role in guiding, developing, and motivating a team of brand advocates to ensure an exceptional customer experience that aligns with the company’s brand values.

Requirements
