Job summary

Lucky Brand in Lyndhurst, NJ is seeking a Store Analyst to support store-level inventory planning, analyze GMROI, sales and margins, and allocate product across departments to optimize our fashion mix. You will collaborate with merchants, planners, and field teams to ensure the right depth and breadth of inventory, execute fashion flows and replenishment, and present actionable insights.

The role requires 4+ years in inventory/allocation, a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, strong Excel skills,

Responsibilities

  • Assist with store-level inventory planning and alpha group coordination
  • Execute fashion flows, replenishment, and transfers to maximize sales
  • Analyze weeks on hand, weeks of supply, open-to-ship, and balance vs deliveries
  • Collaborate with DC partners to ensure inventory flow
  • Conduct supply chain pipeline reviews and identify flow challenges
  • Review product performance by style, region, and store level
  • Pull reports for departmental use and attend weekly planning meetings
  • Provide feedback on underperforming or outperforming products
  • Communicate replenishment strategies and future event preparation
  • Manage allocations to support forecast and on-order flows
  • Coordinate with Allocation Manager to reflect weekly strategies
  • Prepare distribution sheets and set up size scales for new deliveries and stores

Job description

Overview

The Store Analyst will support the execution of the company’s financial plans (GMROI, sales, and margin) by reviewing store opportunities and strategically allocating product to drive business for departments. Ensure that all new fashion flows are flawlessly executed to provide a “best in class” experience for our customer. Respond and collaborate with the merchant, planner and field organization to guarantee appropriate mix, depth, and breadth of inventory at an individual store level.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with the inventory plan at the store level and/or alpha group
  • Execute initial fashion flows, fashion replenishment, and transfers of products in order to maximize sales and optimize inventory. Achieve turn objectives at a department and/or division level
  • Manage individual store inventory analyzing weeks on hand, weeks of supply, open to ship, balance of ownership relative to deliveries and flow.
  • Manage continuous flow of inventory through DC in collaboration with DC partners
  • Conduct supply chain pipeline review and call out inventory flow challenges
  • Review product performance at style and region/district/store level (Dept/season/store/category/style/size)
  • Pull reports and data for departmental use
  • Attend weekly meetings with planning, allocation and merchant partners
  • Provide feedback from stores relative to product that is underperforming or exceeding expectations.
  • Ensure stores are clear on replenishment strategies, new flows, and preparation for future events.
  • Manage allocations to support sales forecast, receipt flows, markdown strategies and future on order.
  • Collaborate with Senior Store Analyst to understand weekly strategies and execute allocations to reflect these.
  • Review depth and breadth of assortment, populate distribution sheets and present back to Allocation Manager
  • Create, review and manage size scales with initial allocation for new deliveries and stores
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent experience required (4+ years)
  • 1-2 years of experience in related role (Inventory Management, Allocation Analyst, Stock, Inventory Analyst etc.)
  • Store line sales or stock experience is a plus
  • Possess strategic analysis skills
  • Meets and strives to increase productivity standards; looks for ways to improve and promote quality
  • Basic Math Skills: intermediate Microsoft Windows Applications, specifically Excel
  • Work collaboratively with cross functional team
  • Written and verbal communication
  • Ability to present and recommend strategies to build a business case/develop a point of view
  • Adapt to a fast pace ever changing environment
  • Travel may be required, based on business needs.
  • Adhere to regular in-office presence, including to engage in in-person team interaction, meetings and collaboration. Job duties may be performed effectively using the hybrid work program designated by the company.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor as the company retains the right to change duties to this position.
  • Must have authorization to work in the United States.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards.

  • Ability to remain in a stationary position for up to 8 hours per day
  • Ability to constantly operate a computer, other office equipment and look at a monitor for up to 8 hours per day
  • Ability to clearly and accurately communicate and exchange information verbally, in writing, or through other means in person, telephonically, or through virtual communication methods
  • Ability to reach at or below shoulder level
  • Ability to carrying equipment, moving boxes/samples, etc.
