Qualifications

Candidates should be able to:

• Read and write in Spanish and English, interact with the public and co-workers.
• Understand instructions, product labels, pricing codes, shelf tags, and memos.
• Write simple correspondence.
• Present information effectively to customers and team members.
• Apply common sense to follow detailed instructions.
• Lifting requirements: up to 25 pounds regularly, up to 45 pounds frequently, up to 60 pounds occasionally.

Preferred Skills

• Basic PC/Outlook skills
• Retail Management Certificate

Job Description

Under supervision, the Meat Wrapper provides friendly service, maintains meat and seafood displays, collaborates with Meat Cutters, cleans shelves and cases, and assists customers. Physical requirements include standing, walking, kneeling, and lifting. A Food Handler Card or equivalent is required.
