Job summary

ONEOK is seeking a Maintenance Technician to operate and maintain storage facilities on rotating shifts. You will read gauges, manage equipment, and ensure safe, reliable operation of gas compressors and dehydration equipment.

Responsibilities include recording data, performing quality control, and responding to emergencies. Experience with gas systems maintenance is preferred.

JOB SUMMARY

Job Profile Summary Performs activities related to operation and maintenance of storage facilities.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities
  • Perform rotating shift work at storage facility including, but not limited to
  • Operating and maintaining storage field equipment
  • Measurement activities/Gauging tanks
  • Changing charts
  • Blowing drips
  • Maintain facility appearance
  • Quality assurance/quality control
  • Operation of engines/gas compressors
  • Gas dehydration equipment
  • Monitor pressure and check operation of equipment.
  • Drive and ensure maintenance is complete on company vehicles.
  • Read, record, prepare, and/or process information from charts, dials, gauges, controls, and other recording devices including, but not limited to: Equipment maintenance and repair Equipment operation and performance problems Safety/environmental forms
  • Responsibilities may include Department of Transportation (DOT) covered functions, including operations, maintenance, or emergency response on a pipeline.
  • Job duties also require the employee to be alert and respond immediately to dangerous or hazardous conditions, and where impaired performance, or failure to follow safety precautions, could result in serious injury or property damage.
