Job summary

A growing technology company in Illinois seeks a Storage and Backup Administrator with 7+ years of experience in Business Process Consulting and IT. Candidates must have expertise in EMC VNX, NetApp, and strong communication skills. This full-time role requires project management capabilities and the ability to work with virtual teams. U.S. citizenship or eligibility to work in the U.S. is required as sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

Job Description

• At least 7 years of experience in Business Process Consulting, problem definition, Architecture/Design /Detailing of Processes
• At least 7 years of experience as a Storage and Backup Administrator
• Excellent working knowledge on EMC VNX, NetApp, Symantec NetBackup.
• Expertise in Brocade and Cisco MDS fabric Switches.
• Experience in using Storage and Backup infrastructure Management and Monitoring tools.
• Knowledge in resolving Storage Incidents and performance related issues
• Strong communication skills required (oral and written)
• Ability to work with onshore/offshore teams, and communicate using virtual communication tools (phone, conferencing, online meeting)
• Ability to support working outside of normal business hours to provide after hour or "on-call" support when necessary to solve high profile issues or complete critical path projects

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
