U-Haul International, Inc. seeks a meticulous Facility Housekeeper to keep the U-Haul facility clean and inviting, supporting our reputation for exceptional service and a welcoming environment.

This part-time role (20-25 hours per week) offers starting pay of $24/hour, opportunities for advancement, on-the-job training, and a set of benefits. You will perform cleaning tasks across storage areas, corridors and restrooms, assist customers, and conduct daily walkthroughs while following safety

Candidate must be a self-motivated person who can be a go getter. Duties will be maintaining facility grounds, cleaning vacant storage units, assisting customer as needed and completing walk throughs daily. 20-25 hours per week.

Facility Housekeeper Responsibilities:

• Provide sweeping, vacuuming, wiping, and mopping for storage units, hallways, restrooms, elevator, etc.
• Dispose of trash
• Maintain and track cleaning supply inventory, requesting supplies as needed
• Other duties as assigned

Facility Housekeeper Minimum Qualifications:

• Organization skills
• Willingness to learn
• Self-starter

The work involves moderate risks or discomforts which require special safety precautions, e.g., working around moving parts or machines, fumes or irritant chemicals. May be required to use protective clothing, or gear such as masks, goggles, gloves or shields.

Physical Demands:

The work requires some physical exertion such as long periods of remaining stationary, moving around outdoors, positioning oneself to reach objects at varying heights, and moving equipment weighing a minimum of 50lbs assisted or unassisted.

Pay Range is: $15.16 - $16 Hourly
