Addison Group is seeking a Sr. Storage Engineer for a law firm in California. This role involves supporting and maintaining storage infrastructure, ensuring high availability and performance. Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Nimble storage or Cohesity platforms (deployment, configuration, support).
• Understanding of VLANs, routing, iSCSI, and data center connectivity.
• Ability to troubleshoot issues across storage and network layers.

Responsibilities

• Support and maintain storage infrastructure for high availability and performance.
• Own and manage all storage-related tasks.
• Perform physical data center tasks, including rack and stacking.

Skills

Job Description

a growing law firm is looking for a Sr. Storage Engineer who will play a critical part in supporting and maintaining their storage infrastructure, ensuring high availability, performance, and seamless integration with their network environment. This person will own everything storage and be responsible for making sure the physical data center is in order. Should be willing and able to do the actual rack and stacking of equipment in the data center. This is a contract-to-hire role looking to start in May. Must be willing to work onsite in a hybrid capacity in the East Bay.

Required Tech/Experience

1. Hands-on experience with Nimble (HPE) storage OR Cohesity platforms (deployment, configuration, and ongoing support)
2. Solid understanding of networking concepts related to storage infrastructure (e.g., VLANs, routing, iSCSI, and overall data center connectivity)
3. Ability to troubleshoot performance and connectivity issues across storage and network layers
4. Ability to do rack and stack work in the data center (as needed)

Preferred Tech/Experience

• Any sort of Nimble Storage certifications
