Job summary

Buechel Stone is seeking a Splitter Operator in Marion, NC to set up and operate a splitting machine for veneer and NTV product per work orders. You’ll work in a production environment with a team, following safety rules and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Product knowledge
• Ability to read a tape measure
• Ability to lift objects weighing between 50-100 pounds

Responsibilities

• Operate splitter and feed stone onto conveyor to meet work orders
• Receive direction and maintain equipment safely
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and perform routine maintenance
• Ensure quality standards and proper conveyor operation
• Complete paperwork and support packaging requirements
