Job summary

Aramark is seeking a Stockroom Worker to receive, organize, store, track, and deliver inventory across campus locations. You will handle shipments, maintain stock levels, and ensure safety and sanitation standards are followed.

Responsibilities include inspecting goods, logging stock, and assisting with custodial tasks while upholding excellent customer service. The role may require physical duties such as lifting and walking, with PPE as needed.

Qualifications

• Must read, write, and understand verbal instructions.
• Must complete a sanitation course either before or during first year.
• Must be knowledgeable in operating an efficient cost-effective program.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic.
• Maintain emotional control under stress.
• Ability to resolve interpersonal situations.

Responsibilities

• Unload food and supply shipments from delivery trucks.
• Store perishable and non-perishable goods in refrigerators, freezers, and dry storage.
• Conduct routine physical inventory counts and log stock levels.
• Inspect goods for damage, defects, or incorrect temperatures.
• Transport supplies and product safely to kitchens or other storage areas.
• Dispose of trash, break down cardboard boxes, and clear empty crates.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in all work areas.
• Performs other light maintenance and custodial tasks.
• Maintains excellent customer service and a positive attitude towards guests, customers, clients, co-workers, etc.
• Adheres to Aramark safety policies and procedures including proper food safety and sanitation.
