Job summary

Carters in Clark, NJ is seeking a Stock Associate to support shipping/receiving, organize the stockroom, and ensure timely replenishment to the sales floor. You will partner with the store team to maintain clean presentation and accurate product placement, delivering consistent customer service as part of daily operations.

This role requires the ability to lift up to 40 pounds, stand for long periods, and communicate effectively with customers and teammates.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED preferred.
1–3 years stock/logistics experience required.
Ability to communicate effectively with customers, team and supervisor.
Retail/specialty apparel knowledge preferred.
Ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently.

Responsibilities

Customer Focus: Maintains a strong and genuine customer focus on the sales floor. Partners with the store team to maintain neat, clean, and organized store. Supports the team on delivering customer service and a ready presentation.
Brand Execution: Assists with organizing stock room and merchandise flow to the sales floor; maintains merchandising and presentation standards.
Drive Growth: Organizes stockroom and ensures timely flow of merchandise to the floor; supports loss prevention and safety awareness.
Team Development: Coaches the team on shipment, replenishment, presentation standards, and markdown strategy; communicates professionally with the team.
