Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a full-time Inventory Clerk to maintain storeroom safety, organize shelving, and conduct routine audits in a manufacturing setting. The role requires 1+ years of inventory/receiving experience, SAP proficiency, and advanced Excel skills.

Responsibilities include processing receipts, labeling, discrepancy investigations, and cycle counts. The position supports maintenance and storeroom operations with a focus on accuracy and compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ years experience with inventory management and/or receiving in a manufacturing, warehouse, industrial, military or related setting.
• SAP experience required.
• Advanced Excel and spreadsheet skills required.
• This position is not eligible for Visa Sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the safety and compliance of storeroom and storage areas.
• Ensure clear aisles and organize shelving.
• Conduct routine safety audits.
• Communicate with the Maintenance Buyer regarding orders for operating supplies.
• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming parts and materials against packing slips.
• Process receipts in the system, label items, and store items in designated locations.
• Investigate discrepancies and file damage claims.
• Perform routine inventory reconciliation.
• Execute and manage cycle count processes.
• Prepare weekly counts and run inventory reports.
• Investigate variances and update part information and adjustments in the AMM system.
• Generate and analyze daily and periodic inventory reports.
• Participate in factory safety, quality, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support maintenance and storeroom operations through assigned duties.
