Job summary

Valcor Engineering Corporation in Springfield, NJ is seeking a Stockroom Attendant B responsible for inventory control, storage, and organization in a fast-paced environment under supervision. You will use our ERP system to complete stockroom processes and pull and pack products according to daily orders.

Requires a high school diploma or GED, 1–3 years in stockroom or warehouse operations, strong communication, attention to detail, and basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate ERP system to complete stockroom processes.
• Perform cycle counts and report shortages to the lead.
• Pull and pack products based on daily orders.
• Storage and labeling of inventory materials.
• Keep products organized and properly labeled.
• Ensure product labels are clear and visible.
• Perform basic arithmetic calculations.
• Demonstrate attention to detail and urgency.
• Interact professionally with team members and other departments.
• Report damaged goods following the PTP process.
• Maintain 6S in the work area and follow safety and attendance policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Job Summary

The Stockroom Attendant B position is responsible for the physical management of inventory, storing goods, organizing the stockroom, and maintaining inventory levels in a fast paced environment, under general supervision.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS And EXPECTATIONS

• Demonstrate the ability to use the ERP system to complete the stockroom process.
• Perform cycle counts and report shortages to the lead
• Pulls and packs products based on daily orders.
• Storage and labeling of inventory material.
• Keep products separate and organized.
• Ensure the product label is clear and visible.
• perform basic arithmetic calculations.
• Demonstrate attention to detail and urgency.
• Interact with organizational team members and other department personnel professionally.
• Report damaged goods adhering to the PTP process.
• Ensure and maintain good 6S in the work area and follow all company policies, including safety and attendance.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in stockroom or warehouse operations.
• Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrate excellent organization and attention to detail skills.
• Demonstrate proficient computer skills.

Requisite Skills Required

• Demonstrate acceptable performance of the required job duties, including the use of arithmetic.

EQUIPIMENT/MACHINERY USED

• Ability to operate Electric and hand pallet jack.
• Ability to operate computers, printers, and scanners.
• Operate scales.

Must be able to lift/move heavy boxes, materials up to 50 lbs regularly and 75 lbs occasionally, pushing, pulling, standing for long periods, have manual dexterity, visual acuity, and typing.
