Job summary

Wendling Quarries, Inc. (WQI) is seeking a Stockpile Driver to haul material from crushing or wash plants to stockpiles at our quarry and to perform daily maintenance on equipment.

This full-time role is based in Iowa and offers a consistent schedule. The position includes responsibilities such as inspecting equipment, moving loads to stockpiles, and ensuring product quality while adhering to environmental rules.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Monday – Friday; approximately 40–50 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily inspections and maintenance on equipment.
• Safely and efficiently move product from plant to stockpiles, keeping count of loads hauled.
• Observe the quality and consistency of product being hauled.
• Follow environmental rules by properly disposing of waste oils, lube and filters and by fueling and cleaning equipment.
