Job summary

Walmart is seeking a part-time stocking associate in Mount Pleasant, IA. You will unload trucks and stock new freight, spending most of your time in the backroom and ensuring shelves are replenished efficiently.

The role may require lifting heavy objects (50+ pounds) and possibly operating heavy machinery such as forklifts. This position includes shifts in Opening, Morning, Mid-Shift, and Closing.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift heavy objects in excess of 50 pounds.
• Forklift or heavy machinery experience may be required or beneficial.
• Stocking associates spend most time in backroom loading/unloading freight.

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks and stock new freight.

The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location.

Hourly Wage: $14 - $27 per/hour

Additional Compensation Includes Annual Or Quarterly Performance Incentives.

Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.

Job Overview

Stocking associates are focused on unloading trucks and stocking new freight. They spend the majority of their time in the backroom. Stocking associates must be able to lift heavy objects in excess of 50 pounds. Ability to operate heavy machinery such as forklifts may also be necessary.
