Meijer is seeking an entry level Stocking Clerk to deliver strong customer service with product knowledge and efficient, friendly service. The role involves stocking shelves, merchandising, back-room organization, and teamwork to ensure store readiness every day.

Qualifications

• You’re comfortable learning and using basic technology.

• Experience with pallet jacks or forklifts is a plus.
• You have the ability to perform physical tasks, such as lifting up to 50 lbs, bending, twisting, pushing, pulling, and standing for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Stock shelves with a variety of food and grocery products
• Move product from pallets or carts to the correct shelf locations efficiently and accurately
• Pull backstock and dispose of cardboard and trash in designated back-room areas
• Work closely with leadership to ensure assigned areas are completed on time
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
• Provide friendly, respectful interactions with customers when needed
• Work overnight shifts to prepare the store for the day ahead
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly
