Job summary

Meijer is seeking an entry-level Stocking Clerk in the New York area to provide exceptional customer service, maintain product knowledge, and support merchandising and store operations. The role emphasizes teamwork, efficiency, and a friendly attitude to ensure shelves are stocked for a great shopping experience.

You will be responsible for stocking, organizing back-stock, and collaborating with leadership to complete tasks on time.

Qualifications

• Comfortable learning and using basic technology.
• Organized and efficient with processes.
• Calm and productive in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Willing to work overnight shifts.

Responsibilities

• Stock shelves with a variety of food and grocery products.
• Move products from pallets or carts to the correct shelf locations.
• Pull backstock and dispose of cardboard and trash in designated back-room areas.
• Work closely with leadership to ensure assigned areas are completed on time.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Provide friendly, respectful interactions with customers when needed.
• Work overnight shifts to prepare the store for the day ahead.
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly.
