Job summary

Meijer Inc. in Lowell, MI is seeking an entry-level Stocking Clerk to ensure shelves are stocked with a variety of food and grocery items and to provide friendly, knowledgeable service to customers.

You will move products from pallets to shelves, pull backstock, dispose of packaging, and help maintain a clean, safe store environment while supporting leadership and other team members. This is an opportunity to grow within a family-oriented team.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service or retail environments is a plus.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced setting and follow procedures.
• Comfort with basic technology and store systems.

Responsibilities

• Stock shelves with a variety of food and grocery products.
• Move product from pallets or carts to shelves accurately.
• Pull backstock and dispose of cardboard and trash in back-room areas.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Provide friendly, respectful interactions with customers.
• Work overnight shifts to prepare the store for the day ahead.
• Support other tasks to keep operations running smoothly.
