Job summary

Meijer Inc. is seeking an entry-level Stocking Clerk to ensure shelves are stocked and the store runs smoothly. You will handle a variety of retail tasks related to product placement, customer service, and merchandising.

Qualifications

• Comfortable learning and using basic technology.
• Able to follow processes in an organized, efficient way.
• Calm and productive in a fast-paced environment.
• Team-oriented and collaborative.
• Experience with pallet jacks or forklifts is a plus.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Stock shelves with a variety of food and grocery products.
• Move product from pallets or carts to correct shelf locations.
• Pull backstock and dispose of cardboard and trash in back-room areas.
• Work closely with leadership to ensure tasks are completed on time.
• Maintain a clean, safe, organized work environment.
• Provide friendly, respectful interactions with customers when needed.
• Work overnight shifts to prepare the store for the day ahead.
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly.
