Job summary

Meijer is seeking a Stocking Clerk to keep shelves stocked and provide friendly, knowledgeable service. This entry level role involves stocking shelves, moving products, and maintaining backroom areas with guidance from leadership.

You’ll work to ensure a clean, safe store environment and assist with merchandising. Overnight shifts are available to prepare the store for the day ahead.

Qualifications

• Basic technology skills
• Organized, process-driven
• Calm and productive in a fast-paced environment
• Team-oriented with shared goals
• Pallet jacks or forklifts experience is a plus
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods

Responsibilities

• Stock shelves with a variety of food and grocery products
• Move product from pallets or carts to shelf locations efficiently
• Pull backstock and dispose of cardboard and trash in backroom areas
• Work closely with leadership to complete areas on time
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
• Provide friendly, respectful customer interactions
• Work overnight shifts to prepare the store for the day ahead
• Support other tasks to keep operations running smoothly
