Job summary

Meijer in Michigan is seeking a Stocking Clerk to help keep shelves stocked and customers informed. This entry-level role focuses on efficient stocking, friendly service, and reliable merchandising.

You will be part of a family team, learning store processes and building skills for advancement. You will work with team leaders, gain exposure to overnight shifts to prepare for the day ahead, and contribute to a safe, organized shopping environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to learn and use basic technology.

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Stock shelves with a variety of food and grocery products.
• Move product from pallets or carts to the correct shelf locations efficiently and accurately.
• Pull backstock and dispose of cardboard and trash in designated back-room areas.
• Work closely with leadership to ensure assigned areas are completed on time.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Provide friendly, respectful interactions with customers when needed.
• Work overnight shifts to prepare the store for the day ahead.
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly.
