Job summary

Meijer is hiring a Stocking Clerk to keep our shelves stocked and ready for a great customer experience. This entry level role focuses on product replenishment, merchandising and friendly service, with overnight shifts to prepare the store each day.

You will be part of a family‑like team, supporting leadership and ensuring operational readiness across grocery sections. Prior pallet jack experience is a plus, with training provided and opportunities for advancement within the company.

Qualifications

• Ability to learn and use basic technology.
• Follow processes and procedures in an organized, efficient way.
• Stay calm and productive in a fast-paced environment.
• Enjoy being part of a team and supporting shared goals.
• Experience with pallet jacks or forklifts is a plus.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs, bend, twist, push, pull, and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Stock shelves with a variety of food and grocery products.
• Move product from pallets or carts to correct shelf locations efficiently and accurately.
• Pull backstock and dispose of cardboard and trash in designated back-room areas.
• Work closely with leadership to ensure assigned areas are completed on time.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Provide friendly, respectful interactions with customers when needed.
• Work overnight shifts to prepare the store for the day ahead.
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly.
