Job summary

Meijer in Grand Rapids is hiring an entry-level Stocking Clerk responsible for keeping shelves stocked and delivering friendly, knowledgeable service. You will stock shelves, move products, manage backroom with pallets, and work with leadership to complete tasks on time. The role emphasizes safety, efficiency, and team collaboration.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Stock shelves with a variety of food and grocery products.
Move product from pallets or carts to the correct shelf locations efficiently and accurately.
Pull backstock and dispose of cardboard and trash in designated back-room areas.
Work closely with leadership to ensure assigned areas are completed on time.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
Provide friendly, respectful interactions with customers when needed.
Work overnight shifts to prepare the store for the day ahead.
Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly.
