Job summary

Meijer Great Lakes is seeking an entry level Stocking Clerk to support store operations and deliver exceptional customer service. You will stock shelves, move products, and keep back-stock areas organized while collaborating with leadership to meet daily goals.

The role emphasizes teamwork, efficiency, and safety in a fast-paced retail environment. Prior experience is not required, and training is provided to help you grow with the company.

Qualifications

• Comfortable learning and using basic technology.
• Follow processes and procedures in an organized, efficient way.
• Stay calm and productive in a fast-paced environment.
• Enjoy being part of a team and supporting shared goals.
• Experience with pallet jacks or forklifts is a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, bend, twist, push, pull, and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Stock shelves with a variety of food and grocery products.
• Move product from pallets or carts to correct shelf locations efficiently.
• Pull backstock and dispose of cardboard and trash in back-room areas.
• Work closely with leadership to ensure areas are completed on time.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Provide friendly, respectful interactions with customers when needed.
• Work overnight shifts to prepare the store for the day ahead.
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly.
