Job summary

Meijer Inc. is seeking a Stocking Clerk to support daily store operations with friendly service, product knowledge, and efficient merchandising. This entry-level role exposes you to retail tasks, including stocking, back-room organization, and customer interaction.

You will stock shelves, move products from pallets to shelves, assist with backstock and waste removal, and work with leadership to keep areas on schedule. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work overnight shifts is required.

Qualifications

• Entry-level role with focus on customer service and merchandising.
• Ability to learn basic technologies and processes.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Stock shelves with a variety of food and grocery products.
• Move product from pallets or carts to correct shelf locations.
• Pull backstock and dispose of cardboard and trash in back-room areas.
• Work with leadership to ensure areas are completed on time.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Provide friendly, respectful interactions with customers.
• Work overnight shifts to prepare the store for the day ahead.
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly.
