Job summary

Meijer is seeking an entry-level Stocking Clerk to deliver friendly customer service and ensure shelves are fully stocked with a variety of products. You will learn store technology, follow procedures, and work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

The role focuses on merchandising, stocking, and maintaining back-room organization while collaborating with leadership to meet daily goals. It’s a hands-on position for those who take pride in a well-stocked store.

Qualifications

• Entry level role focused on stocking and customer service.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.
• Comfortable learning basic store technology and following procedures.

Responsibilities

• Stock shelves with a variety of food and grocery products.
• Move product from pallets to shelf locations accurately.
• Pull backstock and dispose of cardboard and trash in designated back-room areas.
• Work with leadership to ensure areas are completed on time.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Provide friendly, respectful interactions with customers when needed.
• Work overnight shifts to prepare the store for the day ahead.
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly.
