Job summary

Meijer Inc. is seeking a Stocking Clerk to ensure shelves are stocked with a variety of products and to provide an exceptional shopping experience. The role involves moving product from pallets to shelves, back-room handling, and maintaining a clean, safe store environment.

You will engage with customers and teammates to support daily store operations. The position emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and the ability to work overnight shifts, with a family-company culture that supports development

Qualifications

Entry level retail role offering exposure to stocking and merchandising.
Must be able to interact professionally with customers and team members.
Experience with pallet jacks or forklifts is a plus.

Responsibilities

Stock shelves with a variety of food and grocery products.
Move product from pallets or carts to the correct shelf locations efficiently and accurately.
Pull backstock and dispose of cardboard and trash in designated back-room areas.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
Provide friendly, respectful interactions with customers when needed.
Work overnight shifts to prepare the store for the day ahead.
Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly.
