Job summary

Meijer, a family company, is hiring a Stocking Clerk to deliver friendly service and keep shelves stocked. This entry level team member position will be exposed to retail tasks related to price changes, product, customer service and merchandising.

This position requires early morning availability. You’ll stock shelves, move product, manage backstock, work with leadership, maintain safety and cleanliness, and interact with customers.

Qualifications

• Comfortable learning and using basic technology.
• Follow processes and procedures in an organized, efficient way.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Stock shelves with a variety of food and grocery products.
• Move products from pallets to shelf locations accurately.
• Pull backstock and manage backroom waste as directed.
• Work with leadership to complete areas on schedule.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Provide friendly interactions with customers when needed.
• Work overnight shifts to prepare the store for the day ahead.
• Support other tasks to keep operations running smoothly.
