Job summary

Total Wine & More in Knoxville is seeking Merchandiser-store team members to deliver excellent customer service, maximize product inventory, and support online operations. You may handle merchandising, sales support, stocking, and occasional deliveries to ensure a positive shopping experience.

Responsibilities include greeting customers, product training, promotions awareness, safety, and compliance with alcohol laws.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1–3 years of experience; 1+ years in retail preferred.
• Familiarity with POS systems and inventory management software.
• Flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.
• Must be 21+ and able to stand 8–10 hours, lift 50 lbs, and work outdoors as needed.

About the role

All Store Team Members play an essential role in building our company brand by delivering excellent customer service. You will maximize product inventory and support online business operations, ensuring a positive shopping experience. While both part-time and full-time positions generally focus on merchandising responsibilities, you may also be assigned sales, front end or other responsibilities as needed. Internally, you will be referred to as Merchandiser and report to the store management team. You will Maximize product inventory, including processing freight, organizing and distributing inventory, pulling and stocking merchandise, building displays and end caps, placing signage, and supporting digital business operations by fulfilling orders and assisting with in-store and curbside pick-up and delivery services, including driving and making deliveries if assigned.

• If this job posting is coded as a seasonal role above, you can expect this position to be short term, no longer than six months, and you will have the option to apply for a non-seasonal role.

Requirements & Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1-3 years of experience, 1+ years of experience in a retail setting preferred.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and inventory management software.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule as business requires, including evenings and weekends.

Compensation

Pay Range: $13.25 - $18.55 Hourly.
