Job summary

The Stocker - Receiving position at Jetro Restaurant Depot is responsible for ensuring products are delivered to their assigned department and for stocking merchandise to maintain availability. The role requires greeting customers and assisting them in selecting and retrieving products from shelves.

Essential duties include removing pallets, staging items for inspections, breaking down vendor pallets, and ensuring proper identification and rotation of stock.

Responsibilities

• Removes pallets from delivery trucks with the use of scooter or pallet/pump jack.
• Stages pallets and merchandise for supervisor inspections to meet HACCP regulations.
• Breaks down vendor pallets and separates products for different departments.
• Secures product on pallets by properly stocking merchandise and wrapping.
• Completes block tags with item number and date of delivery and attaches them to pallets.
• Moves pallets to designated departments.
• Assists customers with loading and off-loading of product as needed.
• Assists customers with product location and information when needed.
• Performs other work-related duties as required.
