Job summary

Lowe’s is hiring a Receiver/Stocker in Danbury, CT. You will unload deliveries, stock merchandise, and keep aisles clean and safe for customers and teammates. This role emphasizes safe lifting, rapid pace, and attention to detail.

You may work mornings, afternoons, evenings, or overnight depending on store needs and will operate pallet jacks and forklifts while assisting customers and supporting store operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3 months forklift/power equipment experience preferred.
• 6 months warehouse inventory handling and stocking experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver customer service by assisting customers and supporting projects.
• Stock merchandise by unloading freight, stocking shelves, and organizing pallets.
• Verify deliveries, dock prep, and operate equipment like pallet jacks and forklifts.
• Maintain a safe, clean environment following proper procedures for hazardous materials and equipment use.
• Operate store equipment such as scanners and tag printers as needed.
• Contribute as a team member to complete other duties.
