Job summary

Lowe’s is hiring a Receiver/Stocker in Ames, IA. You will unload deliveries, stock shelves, and organize merchandise to keep the store clean, safe, and ready for customers.

This is a physical, fast-paced role with shifts that may include mornings, afternoons, evenings, or overnight. You’ll work with pallet jacks and forklifts, follow safe lifting and hazardous materials procedures, and help customers and teammates with a friendly, professional attitude.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent years of experience in lieu of education requirement.
• Experience operating forklift/power equipment such as lifts, order pickers, and similar equipment.
• Experience in a warehouse performing inventory handling and stocking.

Responsibilities

• Unload deliveries, stock merchandise, and organize inventory.
• Maintain a clean, safe store environment and assist customers.
• Verify deliveries and operate store equipment as needed.
