Job summary

Lowe’s is hiring a Receiver/Stocker to help keep the store clean, safe, and ready for customers. You will unload deliveries, stock shelves, and organize merchandise while following safe lifting practices.

The role can involve mornings, afternoons, evenings, or overnight shifts based on store needs. This position emphasizes fast pace and physical activity, with opportunities to learn trade skills and advance through Lowe’s benefits and education programs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent experience.
• Experience operating forklift or power equipment beneficial, with safe handling practices.

Responsibilities

• Deliver customer service by assisting customers and supporting store projects.
• Stock merchandise by unloading freight, organizing shelves, and setting up pallets.
• Verify deliveries, prepare docks, and operate equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts.
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment and follow hazardous materials procedures.
• Operate store equipment including scanners and balers as needed.
• Contribute to team efforts and complete other tasks as assigned.
• For Pro Fulfillment Stores: use Orders App to pick and stage deliveries; load orders with safety in mind; rotate orders by delivery date; communicate with customers to ensure satisfaction; execute Delivery Readiness best practices.
