Job summary

Vallarta Supermarkets in Los Angeles, CA is seeking a Stocker to transport, stock, and display grocery merchandise, and assist in multiple departments to ensure freshness and presentation while upholding safety and customer service standards.

You will also support eCommerce by selecting and packing customer orders for curbside pickup, rotate perishable items, and help build displays; prior retail experience is helpful but not required.

• Transport, stock, and display grocery merchandise according to company standards.
• Select and pack eCommerce customer orders with accuracy and care, ensuring freshness and quality.
• Read and follow order notes; contact customers about substitutions if needed.
• Bag groceries per company procedures and deliver orders to vehicles.
• Assist with building and maintaining store displays and signage.
• Rotate perishable merchandise and pull out-of-code products.
• Handle merchandise carefully to minimize damage and shrink.

About the Role

The Stocker is responsible for transporting, stocking, and displaying grocery merchandise, as well as assisting in departments such as beer, dairy, deli, frozen foods, and general merchandise when needed.Stockers also support eCommerce by selecting and preparing customer orders for curbside pickup. This role ensures product freshness, accuracy, and presentation whilemaintainingVallarta’s standards for safety, sanitation, and customer service.
