Job summary

ZippyApp - Recruitment Marketing is seeking a Stocker to stock merchandise, keep the store clean, and ensure products are organized and available for customers. You will help create a safe, well-stocked shopping environment and provide friendly customer service throughout shifts.

The role requires lifting and moving merchandise, standing for long periods, and performing routine stocking tasks with attention to shelf labeling and cleanliness.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift, carry, and move merchandise.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and remain on feet for extended periods.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of stock and shelves.

Responsibilities

• Stock merchandise in assigned locations according to shelf allocations established by management.
• Provide efficient, friendly, and courteous customer service at all times.
• Return misplaced items to their proper locations.
• Assist with unloading delivery trucks.
• Sweep and mop all areas of the store as needed.
• Verify shelf labels and pricing accuracy for stocked merchandise.
• Maintain a clean and organized stockroom area.
• Properly remove and dispose of trash and cardboard.
• Rotate merchandise during stocking to ensure freshness and product quality.
• Clean, straighten, and organize shelves and displays.
• Stack and organize product in the stockroom safely and efficiently.
• Operate cardboard baler and bale boxes according to safety procedures.
• Ability to lift, carry, and move merchandise as needed.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and remain on feet for extended periods.
