Responsibilities

• Removes pallets from delivery trucks using a scooter or pallet/pump jack.
• Stages the pallets and merchandise for supervisor inspection to meet HACCP regulations.
• Breaks down vendor pallets and separates products for different departments.
• Secures product on pallets by stocking merchandise and wrapping securely.
• Completes block tags with item number and delivery date and attaches tags to pallets.
• Moves pallets to designated departments.
• Keeps work area safe by handling spills and disposing of trash properly.
• Performs required safety checks of equipment before use.
• Informs supervisor of any safety concerns.
• Provides basic maintenance to equipment such as charging electric equipment.
• Provides prompt, courteous and friendly customer service.
• Assists customers with loading/off-loading and locating products.
