Job summary

Sodexo is seeking a Stock Worker and Receiver on-site at Liberty University. The role involves receiving merchandise, unloading, stocking shelves, and assisting with customer orders within campus warehouses and facilities.

You will support administrative tasks and collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely deliveries. The position requires 0-1 year of experience, may require a valid driver's license and forklift certification.

Qualifications

• May require a valid driver's license.
• May require a forklift operation certification.

Responsibilities

• Verifies and records incoming and outgoing shipments and prepares items for shipment.
• Receives, lifts, moves, stores, issues, counts, sorts, weighs, and verifies items on requisitions or invoices.
• Coordinates with vendors, carriers, and internal departments to schedule deliveries and confirm receipt of goods.
• Unpacks and examines incoming shipments, rejects damaged items, and notes shortages and rectifies with the shipper.
• Fills orders, issues supplies from stock, and rotates stock to maintain freshness.
• Walks/stands for extended periods and can lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
