Sodexo is hiring a Stock Worker and Receiver for the Wilmington warehouse. The role provides administrative and logistical support to warehouse operations, including receiving merchandise, unloading goods, stocking shelves, and assisting customers with orders.

It requires attention to detail and physical mobility for extended shifts. The position is full-time, weekdays morning shifts, with a pay rate of $18 per hour.

Qualifications

• 0-1 year of work experience in a warehouse or stocking role.
• Valid driver’s license may be required.
• Forklift operation certification may be required.

Responsibilities

• Receives, lifts, moves, stores, issues, counts, sorts, weighs, and verifies items.
• Verifies and keeps records on incoming/outgoing shipments and prepares items for shipment.
• Unpacks and examines incoming shipments; rejects damaged items; coordinates with shipper to rectify issues.
• Fills orders, pulls from stock, and rotates stock to maintain freshness.
• Communicates with vendors, carriers, and internal departments to coordinate delivery schedules.
• Occasionally lifts up to 50 pounds and stands/moves for long periods during shifts.
