Job summary

Steve Madden in East Rutherford, NJ is seeking a part-time Stock Associate to support merchandise receipts, deliveries, and stockroom placement. You will help replenish floor stock, assist with product movement, and ensure accurate stockroom operations during peak hours.

Responsibilities include maintaining strong customer service, communicating stock levels to management, and supporting store operations such as merchandising, floor moves, and cleanliness.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of retail experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to use computer and POS systems.
• Able to work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Verify receipts and deliveries and place stock in stockroom.
• Maintain an exceptional customer experience.
• Process and replenish merchandise as needed.
• Monitor floor stock and product movement.
• Communicate stock levels to management.
• Support store operations including merchandising and floor moves.
• Be flexible to perform duties outside the role.
