Job summary

Parts Authority in Arizona is seeking a Stock Manager to join our growing team. The role focuses on maintaining productivity, inventory accuracy and excellent customer service on the warehouse floor.

You will lead stocking operations, coordinate with purchasing, and ensure dock-to-stock for most lines within 72 hours. Ideal candidates have 2–4 years in stock management, experience with WMS and RF tech, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years experience as stock manager.
• Expertise in supply chain, logistics, and time sensitive distribution.
• Experience with WMS / inventory management system, RF technology and conveyor technology.
• Must be able to multi-task and adapt to dynamic order flow.
• Self-starter with proactive approach to identify and fix delays.
• Experience tracking KPIs such as inbound/outbound productivity.
• Knowledge of automotive parts preferred.
• Forklift, Hazmat and OSHA certifications preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand/walk up to 10 hours.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high productivity, efficiency and customer service; not a supervisory role.
• Ensure customer service goals are met.
• Formulate and enforce picking goals for each warehouse area.
• Ensure dock to stock within 72 hours.
• Coordinate with purchasing on unloading orders and stocking.
• Ensure loads are efficiently handled to support sales objectives.
• Collaborate with dispatchers to improve delivery service.
• Check in and post orders from hubs and vendors.
• Maintain accurate inventory counts.
• Assist parts pullers in locating parts.
• Handle damaged deliveries and report issues.
• Coordinate inventory updates with store manager and purchasing.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
• Oversee cleanliness, organization and safety in the warehouse.
• Maintain safe working environment and DOT/OSHA compliance.
• Apply 5S principles and manage carrier relationships.

Responsibilities

The Stock Manager is responsible for maintaining a high level of productivity, efficiency and customer serviceas well as managing the team responsible stocking items on the shelves and ensuring the neat, orderly condition of the store.

• Maintain a high level of productivity, efficiency and customer service:
• Not a supervisory role
• Ensure customer service goals are continuously met
• Formulate and enforce picking goals for each area/zone of the warehouse.
• Ensure dock to stock for most lines within 72 hours.
• Work with purchasing to develop and implement procedures for unloading orders from vendors and stocking them on our shelves.
• Ensure trucks/ trailers are efficiently and accurately loaded/ unloaded to support the efficient movement of goods and materials to their destinations to fulfill commitment to our customers and support sales objectives.
• Work with dispatchers and outbound production team to enhance customer service via delivery vehicles.
• Check in and post orders from hubs and vendors
• Maintain an accurate count of inventory
• Assist parts pullers to locate and identify parts
• Handle damaged deliveries, report damaged merchandise to shippers and vendors
• Coordinate with store manager and purchasing on inventory updates and replacements
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Oversee operations

• Maintain a meticulous standard for cleanliness, organization, and safety throughout the warehouse.
• Maintain a safe working environment. Ensure that safety and compliance practices meet DOT and OSHA standards
• Maintain 5S warehouse principles are administered and followed on a routine basis
• Manage carrier (FedEx, UPS, USPS, etc.) and local (contract) delivery relationships

Qualifications

• Must have 2-4 years experience as a stock manager
• Expertise in supply chain, logistics, and time sensitive distribution required
• Experience with WMS/ inventory management system, RF technology and conveyor technology
• Must possess ability to multi-task and adjust to dynamic order flow fluctuations as needed
• Must be a self-starter and possess the ability to identify areas drifting behind in production and pro-actively take action to get back on track
• Experience in tracking metrics, including key performance indicators such as inbound/outbound productivity.
• Knowledge of automotive parts preferred
• Forklift, Hazmat and OSHA Certifications preferred
• Clean/ valid drivers license preferredAbility (with or without reasonable accommodation) to lift, push and pull up to 50 pounds, stand/ walk for up to 10 hours, able to squat, bend and reach, able to climb and descend stairs safely (applies to locations with stairs)
• Ability to work powered equipment (forklift, cherry picker etc)
