Vestas in the United States is seeking a Warehouse Inventory Associate to support service-site materials management, shipping and receiving duties, and expediting critical parts. You'll operate in our site warehouse, handle tools storage, and maintain accurate counts in our ERP system.

Ideal candidates have warehouse and inventory experience, proficiency with Excel, and familiarity with SAP/ERP tools. The role includes 5 days a week shifts of 8–10 hours, with a focus on safety and efficiency.

• Proficient with Excel; SAP/ERP/Power BI familiarity a plus.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and operate forklifts.

Position Overview

In this position you’ll use your skills and experience to perform activities that support the management of inventory at Service sites: Managing all shipping and receiving duties for materials and tools and assist with expediting critical time sensitive parts. You will also take full responsibility for inventory counts both cyclical and annually in our ERP system and physically. During a typical day, you will work in the site warehouse parts & tools rooms and utilize computer skills. You will typically have shifts 5 days a week at 8-10 hours a day.

Who You Are

• Warehouse safety culture and warehouse/inventory experience
• Organizational skills/background/drive
• Computer skills - EXCEL required / SAP, Power BI, ERP or MRP platform tools are all nice-to-haves
• Strong time management skills/experience
• Forklift operation
• Ability to lift 50lbs .... see physical requirements in the job description/posting
• Ideally you will bring at least a year of wind experience or 2-3 years of experience in an inventory or material handling background.
